A significant fire broke out at Azadpur Mandi

The largest vegetable market in New Delhi, Azadpur Mandi, experienced a major fire on Friday, September 29. 

 

In order to put out the fire, more than 10 fire fighters arrived quickly. 

 

There haven't been any reports of deaths or injuries as of yet.

 

The fire was put out and the cooling process was under progress, according to local media.

 

The fire might have started in a garbage heap behind a tomato vendor's shop, according to the officials. 

 

Fire Station Officer Paras Kumar told the news outlet ANI, "We got the information that a fire broke out near Azadpur Gate No. 1."

 

We have absolutely put a stop to it. Nobody is hurt. There are 7-8 vehicles present on the spot.

 

An investigation will be conducted, and the causes of the fire will be revealed... The fire was put out in 15-20 minutes because our vehicles arrived quickly, said Kumar.
