Blast At Chemical Factory In Gujarats Bharuch

Gujarat is always in the limelight when it comes to any massive incident related to factories and the lives of factory workers. 



Around six people were killed in a blast at a chemical factory in the Dahej industrial area of Gujarat's Bharuch district late on Sunday night. 



 According to the information, the police have initiated an investigation into the incident. The six workers at the Organic Chemical Company factory died due to burn injuries, said the police.



According to a report by news agency PTI, the incident took place around 3 am at the Organic Chemical Company factory in Dahej. Bharuch Superintendent of Police Leena Patil said, the six victims were working near a reactor, which suddenly blew off during the solvent distillation process.



According to the statement the police said, "The blast in the reactor caused a fire in the factory. All the six persons working near the reactor died. The bodies were later recovered and sent for postmortem. The fire was also brought under control," she said. No one else was injured in the incident, the official said.



Many unknown incidents take place where many innocent lives have been hampered during a massive incident. Gujarat is among the foremost list where this type of incident rapidly takes place.



According to the report, It can be recalled that in August last year, there was an explosion inside a chemical manufacturing unit in the Dahej industrial area in Bharuch in which one worker was killed and two others were injured.
