NEW DELHI: Authorities at IGI Airport were on high alert after a Delhi-Toronto Air Canada flight received a bomb threat on Tuesday night, according to news agency ANI.

Following standard security protocols, a thorough inspection was conducted, but nothing suspicious was found on the aircraft, police told ANI.

"On June 4 at 10:50 PM, Delhi International Airport Limited received an email threatening a bomb on an Air Canada flight scheduled to depart for Toronto.

Following standard security protocols, a thorough inspection was conducted, and nothing suspicious was found. Legal action is underway," stated the Delhi Police.
