A letter is viral which is being claimed to be a letter left by Trump for Biden
U.S. President Joe Biden has allegedly said that his predecessor Donald Trump left him a "very kind" letter to the Oval Office before leaving the White House. It is customary for outgoing Presidents to write a letter to their successors and leave it at the Resolute Desk in the Central Office.
However, because the former president violated many of the previous traditions, including choosing to skip Biden's inauguration ceremony and did not officially congratulate him on his election victory, it was unclear until Wednesday whether Trump would retain the tradition of presidents leaving their next notes.
"The President has written a kind letter. Because it was a secret, I will not talk about it until I have spoken to him. But it has been kind," Biden told reporters at the Oval Office in the White House on Wednesday. The president has said he plans to speak with Trump. At her virginity news conference Wednesday night, White House News Secretary Jen Psaki told the media that she was with Biden when she read the book at the Oval Office just before she signed the administrative action.
However, she declined to comment further on the letter, saying "it was a secret, as he (Biden) said to all of you". "It was kind and compassionate, and it was just to show that he did not plan to disband the party with dissent, but I did not take it as a sign that the former president would still be called," Psaki said.
However another letter, believed to have been written by Trump to Biden, is circulating on social media, sparking sharp reactions. A letter dated January 20, 2021, with the signature of the outgoing US president reads "Joe, you know I have won." The authenticity of the letter, which is believed to have been written by Donald Trump, cannot be confirmed. Meanwhile, the blogpost claims the letter was written by Donald Trump, for Joe Biden.
