3 Dead in the incident…
Mumbai: On Wednesday, 16 October 2024, a fire broke out in a 14-storey residential building Lokhandwala Complex in Mumbai. Three dead so far, officials said.
A civic official said that the blaze erupted at around 8 am on the 10th floor of the Riya Palace building, located on 4th Cross Road at the Lokhandwala Complex in the Andheri area.
Three persons were injured and taken to the Cooper Hospital where doctors declared all three dead, a civic official said.
As per civil officials, the victims have been identified as Chandraprakash Soni aged 74, Kanta Soni aged 74 and Pelubeta 42 years old.
A fire brigade official said that the blaze was doused at around 9 am.
The cause of the fire was yet to be cleared, the official added.
