New vehicles in the showroom were destroyed…
A fire broke out on Thursday night at a private car showroom in Hyderabad. Flames engulfed the showroom, located near Kundapur Junction in the busy city center, causing significant damage.
Although firefighters managed to control the blaze, several new cars, which were there in the showroom, were destroyed. Initially, four fire engines could only contain the fire.
There were also concerns about further damage, as the fire started to spread to the adjacent Sahasra Udupi Grand Hotel building.
As a precaution, the police also evacuated rooms on the second floor of a nearby building, managed by a popular living spaces company.
Six fire engines were deployed to contain and prevent further spread of the fire.
While the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, sources said that no casualties were reported.
