Anand Mohan's wife Lovely Singh and son Chetan to join hands with Lalu Prasand Yadav's party RJD just before a month for Bihar elections 2020
Bihar gangster-turned-politician Anand Mohan's spouse Lovely and son Chetan has joined hands with RJD ( Rashtriya Janata Dal ) just a month before the Bihar Election 2020.
Lovely had an unsuccessful contest in 2009 as she had stood from a Congress ticket from Shekhar but she lost. She left Cong. in 2014 alleged as she was neglected from the rest of the party members.
Lovely had a few months ago met senior leaders of the JD(U) at led to speculations that she may join the ruling party. Recent on 28th September she clarifies the ties to join the party.
Anand Mohan was the founder of now-defunct Bihar People's Party. Earlier was jailed due to a mob lynching at Krishnaiah on December 1994.
The officer was pulled out of a car, beaten up brutally and was shot dead. After that, the culprit has announced a death penalty in the section of 302 and 109 from IPC ( Indian Panel Code ) in 2007.
In 2008 in Patna hight court verdict the death penalty was commune to life imprisonment. Further, the Supreme Court had upheld the conviction of life imprisonment of the Don-turned-politician.
In a meeting, a local report stated that Lovely her son has a statement of relief and hope to the commoners, "give best to the party and would discharge the responsibilities conferred upon them with utmost sincerity".
After joining the party the locals said, "Lovely and Chentan are trying to give their best for the responsibilities assigned to them. Hope they satisfy the needy and the problem faced in society."
