He is likely to take the oath on October 15…
The BJP leader Nayab Singh Saini will make a third consecutive victory record in the Haryana Assembly polls. Sources said he is likely to take oath as the CM again on October 15.
A 10-member committee has been formed by the state chief secretary to oversee the oath-taking ceremony arrangements. The committee will be headed by the Panchkula District Commissioner.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other top leaders, including Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states, are likely to attend the oath-taking ceremony.
The BJP had indicated during the elections that Nayab Singh Saini, who replaced Manohar Lal Khattar as the CM in March, will be its choice for the top post if it wins.
Nayab Singh Saini is from the Other Backward Classes (OBCs), which is a major vote bank in the state.
Earlier this week, Nayab Singh Saini and other newly-elected BJP MLAs of Haryana met with the senior party leadership in Delhi.
Nayab Singh Saini also met with PM Narendra Modi, BJP chief and Union Ministers Amit Shah, and JP Nadda.
Bucking a decade of anti-incumbency and defying exit poll predictions, the BJP scripted a turnaround in Haryana and ended up with its best-ever haul of 48 of 90 Assembly seats.
