As the great personalities tweeted in favour of Farmers protest and said to put aside Indias Yoga & Tea image, on that PM Modi reacted and said no conspiracy would work.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday revealed that a global ‘conspiracy’ was in the process of tarnishing the country's tea industry and the one behind this wouldn’t be spared. During a visit to Assam, the Prime Minister said the government would soon find colleges in medical and technical education where the learning curriculum would be in the local language.
The term ‘conspiracy’ is interpreted as a reference to ‘tool kit’ shared by Swedish youth activist environmentalist Greta Thunberg in which it was said that the Indian image of ‘yoga and chai’ should be tampered with as part of a dispute over farm laws submitted by the Center. Climate activist and popstar Rihanna was among the world-famous celebrities who wrote on twitter in support of the ongoing farmers' protests at the Delhi border over Farm Rules, with strong criticism from the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Speaking at a public event in Dechekjuli district in Assam district in Sonitpur after laying the foundation stone for two hospital and hospital colleges and launching 'Asom Mala', a project aimed at building state highways and regional highways, the Prime Minister said Assam has had only six medical colleges since independence. "However, in the last five years, Assam has added six more medical colleges," he said.
The Prime Minister said, "As India enters its 75th year of independence; I dream that all states should have at least one medical college and one technical college in which their languages are taught. Can one be a good doctor? With the formation of the new government, one medical and technical college will be opened in Assam to study the local language. ” Claiming that there was a 'conspiracy' in the news to tarnish the image of the Indian beverage industry, Modi said no one could appreciate the rich aroma and unique taste of Assam tea more than he did. He added that he had always believed that the well-being of Assam's workers in the tea field was crucial to the development of the state.
"The conspiracy to defame the country has reached the point where they are not even leaving Assam's tea alone. The conspirators said they would tarnish the image of Assam tea around the world. Some of the documents that have come out have shown that there are foreign hands that want to damage our relationship with the world through the tea sector, ”he said. “Will you accept such an attack on the image of the world? Will he save the invaders? Will you stand with those who praise the invaders? Modi asked the crowd. He said such a conspiracy to defame the country would not work as people would seek answers from the conspirators and those who helped them" h further added.
“Tea workers will win this battle. Such attacks on our tea industry will be overcome as the power of the conspirators does not match the hard work of our tea garden workers, ”said the Prime Minister.
The tea community, which comprises 17% of the population of Assam, suffers from exploitation, economic decline, poor health conditions and low levels of education. The BJP has established a strong base of voters in the community since it intervened in the stronghold of Congress.
