Congress Representative from Gokulpur Vidhansabha, Delhi…

Extremely Hard-working Congress Representative, Mr. Ishwar Bagdi is working with all his heart to bring a prosperous change in the country with his devotion towards his people. The Times Nation had an interaction with Mr. Bagdi related to his efforts, sacrifice, and passion for the nation.

During an Interaction, it was questioned, where did you get the inspiration to contest elections for Congress…

Indian National Congress is a major political party in India, and also the first one at the forefront of the Indian freedom movement.

Spirit of service to the country: I get inspired to contest elections from the desire to serve the country and bring positive change in the society because if any party has played the most important role in the development work done in the country from independence, then it is the Congress Party.

- Social justice: The Congress Party is often known for fighting for the social justice and equality of the people.

- Personal experience: In the family, our father and grandfather have contributed to many movements like the Jail Bharo movement. I get inspired to contest elections by learning from my personal experiences and challenges of life!

Please share your background and relevant work experience with us…

Political experience: I have worked in politics for many years, I won the corporation election from the Congress party, and I have also been the chairman of the Shahdara North Zone. Due to this, I have an understanding of the political process and policymaking.

My main objective is to serve the public interest, not to seek personal gain or political power. I have done many such works (like Saboli Halt Railway Station, Loni Road Centralized, construction of 4 culverts, canal road repair work, drainage near Shakti Garden Railway Line, 9 roads in Kabir Nagar Babapur commercial and mixed land, street lights in Babarpur, construction and improvement of 4 corporation schools, community hall Balbir Nagar etc.) which have helped the youth in employment and education.

How do you stay connected with your voters, and what methods do you use to understand their concerns…

- Use of social media: I connect with my voters and understand their concerns using social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

- Public meetings: I communicate directly with my voters and understand their problems by organizing public meetings and meetings.

- Surveys and feedback: We constantly understand the opinions and concerns of our voters through surveys and feedback from time to time.

- Collaboration with local organizations: We have been solving the problems of our voters by collaborating with local organizations.

- Regular communication: I keep my voters informed about my work and policies through regular communication.

What do you propose to improve the economy and generate employment in the state…

My proposals for improving the economy and generating employment in our assembly are:

To improve the economy

1. Promoting local industries: Special schemes will be made to promote local industries in our assembly, such as proposing DDA market. So that local vendors and fruit and vegetable people can get strength in the industry.

For employment generation

1. Skill development program: Youth will be trained through skill development programs, so that they can get employment opportunities. As the Congress party has also promised in its manifesto that under the internship program, assistance amount of Rs 8500 will be provided to the youth every month.

2. Startup ecosystem: Special schemes will be made to promote the startup ecosystem in our assembly so that new entrepreneurs can get support.

3. Employment fairs: Employment fairs will be organized regularly so that youth can get employment opportunities. Construction of the DDA market so that entrepreneurs get employment in one place.

Our constituency has a lot of problems like daily traffic jam, dust and parking but till date no one has done any work on this but we are committed to solve these problems with a better thinking and creative solution.

Implementation of these proposals will improve the economy in our constituency and create new employment opportunities.

What are your views on health care, education, and social welfare programs…

My views on health care, education, and social welfare programs are,

1. Expansion of health services: New health centers will be built to expand health services in the areas of my assembly. The aim is to make all types of medicines available in the dispensary.

Problem Solving: I take a creative and pragmatic approach to solving problems in the area.

Leadership and Motivation: I believe in motivating my team and encouraging them to achieve their goals.

Responsibility and Accountability: I take responsibility for my actions and hold my team members accountable too.

What are your plans to ensure transparency and accountability in the government…

Many plans and steps can be taken to ensure transparency and accountability in the government. Some of the important steps are:

- Right to Information (RTI) Act: This act gives citizens access to government information, allowing them to demand transparency and accountability in government work!

- Lokpal and Lokayukta: These institutions have been created to investigate corruption of government officials and leaders and hold them accountable!

- E-governance: Making government services and information available online gives citizens information about transparency and accountability in government work.

- Citizen Charter: This is a document in which standards and timelines of government services are set, which gives citizens information about transparency and accountability in government work.

- Citizen Participation: Ensuring the participation of citizens in government decisions increases transparency and accountability in government work!

What are the specific challenges in the state, and how do you plan to address them…

The Assembly has several specific challenges that need to be addressed. Some of the major ones are:

- Social and economic equality: The state needs to promote social and economic equality, so that all citizens get equal opportunities.

- Road jams and encroachment: As I said, there is a proposal for DDA market so that all the industries can be brought together at one place, which will end the problems of employment and road jams.

- Parking: Make arrangements for government parking in the area so that people do not have to park their vehicles on the roads, and people also get relief from jams.

- In many places, sewer lines and main holes are open, due to which there is a possibility of some big accident every day. First of all, repair all these main holes and sewer lines and clean the drains and cover them so that people can get relief from the foul smell.

- Considering the pathetic condition of the roads, repairing them will be the first priority.

- Communal violence and social harmony: The state needs to prevent communal violence and promote social harmony.

- Economic development and employment: The state needs to promote economic development and provide employment opportunities.

- Education and Health: The state needs to improve education and health services so that all citizens can get good education and health services.

- Law and Order: The state needs to maintain law and order so that all citizens can get security and justice. I am planning to implement various programs such as strengthening the police force and improving the legal system.

Your wonderful story of hard work is an inspiration and valuable.

The Times Nation wishes her good luck and thanks her!
