CM Dhami announces the award to the artist for winning 1st prize on republic day...

On 1 February 2023, the chief minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami announced a reward money of Rs. 50,000 each to the artists of Uttarakhand Manskhand tableau that received the top prize in the 74^th republic day parade on 26 January.

As per the official statement received the chief minister announced the award when the team leader of tableau, Joint director information KS Chauhan along with the artists met Dhami at his residence on Wednesday. The CM stated that it’s an honour for Uttarakhand to receive the first prize and the rich and heritage culture has been recognized by the country and the world on the occasion of republic day.

The director of general information Banshidhar Tiwari presented the trophy at the chief minister’s champ’s office in his residence. He also mentioned that it is a great pride for Uttarakhand to get the first position on such a big occasion.

He also informed that the tableau construction started on 31 December from 4 am to 1 midnight and then the artists had to leave for the duty path rehearsal in the harsh winter at 4 am.
