Two militants were killed in Baramullah Encounter

On September 16, two militants were killed during an ongoing anti-militancy operation in the Baramulla area of north Kashmir.

Where militants were hiding, in Uri's Hathlanga neighborhood, they were killed.

"A search team moved in the direction of a suspected location. They came into contact as a result of the terrorists' indiscriminate shooting from cover. The operation is ongoing and two terrorists have been killed, according to the police.

On September 16, according to officials, the search operation in Anantnag's Gadool neighborhood entered its fourth day.

This encounter marks the third of its kind in Jammu and Kashmir this week. Two previous incidents occurred in Rajouri and Anantnag.

In Anantnag, where the anti-militancy operation is still underway, the security forces believe two to three militants were hiding in the Gadool hill.

During the clashes in Rajouri and Anantnag, two militants and four soldiers were killed.
